Certification
A completion certificate is available to any person with an entry in the Society's database. Claims for a certificate may be made using the buttons below or in person to our office at Ty Hyll in Capel Curig. We are always pleased to meet people who have experienced the journey over the roof of Wales.
Certificates are professionally printed on top quality material and are available free of charge to members of the Snowdonia Society, a registered charity. You can see a blank certificate in the "Resources" area of this site. Existing members need only send an email to the office. You can join NOW with any credit card or paypal transfer and we will post out your certificate, joining pack and discount card (including a 20% reduction at Cotswold Outdoor). Single membership is £20; joint membership for two people at the same address is £30. We will then keep you posted on our Snowdonia walking programme, our other events and send you our magazine. You do not have to be contemplating the 14 peaks to join the Society! We welcome members of all ages and abilities - we simply ask that you have an interest in this very special part of Wales. We do hope that you will consider joining the Society in order to further our charitable aims of protecting Snowdonia for future generations to enjoy. We do not of course insist on this. Non-members who wish a momento of their very special mountain day can have their certificate posted to their credit card address by completing the appropriate button below. We charge £10 per certificate, but if you require a large number of certificates or you're completing the challenge for charity please contact us to arrange discount.
Finally,as a registered charity we are able to boost the value of donations and subscriptions if you are a UK income taxpayer by using the Governments giftaid scheme. This allows us to reclaim tax and further our charitable aims at no additional cost to you. If you are not a UK taxpayer we cannot claim so please choose the appropriate declaration box from the drop down menu.
